Three MASC/E3P Graduate Students awarded the Impact and Horizon awards

Three MASC/E3P Graduate Students awarded the Impact and Horizon awards; Dr. Kelsey Jesser, Dr. Matt Kenworthy, and Dr. Shelby Ziegler!

These awards are given in recognition of graduate student research at UNC that is deemed most impactful for our state.  UNC has over 8,000 graduate students, with 11 students awarded the Impact Award and 6 students awarded the Horizon Award. This year 2 students from IMS/MASC/E3P were awarded the Impact Award and 1 student was awarded the Horizon Award. In the past 10 years, about 10% of IMS/MASC/E3P graduate students have received these awards.

More details about the awards in general can be found here.
