Jessica Smith and Wilton Burns recieved Philips Ambassador Travel Scholarships for energy studies in Thailand

Lauren Donoghue and Piya Kerdlap received Class of 38 Travel Scholarships.  Lauren will travel to Thailand to explore her interest in water resource management and the role it can play in conflict mediation in the region.  Piya will go to Thailand to do honors thesis research on solar energy.

Austin Brandt recieved a Francis Phillips Travel Scholarship to study the urban transit systems in several European cities.

Rachel Norman was accepted into the NSF/OTS NAPIRE program and will be conducting research on tropical diversity in Costa Rica through a paid internship.
