Ashley Mui, a former Delta intern with Harvey Seim, received an IGERT (Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship) to complete her PhD in Wind Energy at Iowa State. The IGERT covers $30,000 a year, in addition to a six-month internship, and three months in Europe or China. Her experience with wind energy through the Delta program and field site experience in Thailand made Mui a great candidate for the traineeship.
